Musical notes on a staveAn afternoon of relaxed intercultural music-making and sharing of songs and tunes from around the world.
Come and join in or just listen as we weave a rich and inspiring mix of live sounds originating from South America, West Africa, South Asia, Eastern Europe, the West Indies, the Middle East and the West Midlands!

Light refreshments provided.

Group of women at a previous eventPart two of an inter-cultural event for women: good conversation, and an artistic creation (quilt or patchwork) to join in making.

An opportunity for old friends and new to meet in a relaxed and informal environment, in which we will be discussing the role women play in building peaceful, strong and supportive communities

Lunch provided (including halal and vegetarian).
Suitable for: women only, children welcome

People listening to each other's stories

Racism causes personal, institutional, and social damage, which affects us all. Good policies and programmes are needed, but aren’t enough to end racism. We must clean up the mess it leaves in our hearts and minds as well.

Learn tools for challenging and undoing racism’s effects on people targeted by racism, and on white people, with a simple yet powerful process of engaged listening that we use daily in our work.

Light refreshments provided.
Suitable for: 14 years and over
