There must be amidst all the confusions of the hour a tried and undisturbed remnant of people who will not become purveyors of coercion and violence who are willing to stand alone if it is necessary for the way of peace and love among men
Upon arriving at the women's pamper day I was greeted with a room full of smiling women of all ages and backgrounds.
The room was alive with chatter and laughter, and immediately I knew I was going to have fun! There was lots to do, and along with my friends I enjoyed having henna applied to my hands. It was also great to see the beautician's hair and make-up transformations on the women. I felt the day was hugely popular among the ladies, not only because of the pampering but also due to the great food!
Back again, for my third blog! This time, I’m writing from the busy city of Sao Paulo, whilst sitting in a history class in Colegio Sao Luis; things are very different here to sunny Rio de Janeiro.
Okay, so before I get started I would just like to say to all of you at home in Coventry: yes, I know I haven`t blogged once through out my two weeks in the beautiful city of Rio. BUT-- I have been writing regularly in my personal journal..so my experiences haven't been lost...I just need to transfer all the relevant info here on this blog. :)
So here goes ...

Here's the first blog from one of our two Global Fellowship world travellers this year - FolesHillfields regular Raadia, who's on her way to Brazil in a week's time:
