January Women's Lunch

As always our monthly womens lunch was a great success.

Over 25 local women and 5 children enjoyed lots of food, laughter and interesting conversations. As there was less women than usual (we get about 40 women plus children on a regular basis), we went around and the ladies introduced themselves and shared something good that had happened to them in the last week.

Gausia, a past regular who has temporarily moved to Qatar, was home for a short break and we were really pleased to see her.

Sanaa and Salma, who are both Sudanese but have lived in Holland, America and short spells in other parts of the World shared their experiences (with great storytelling skill and humour) of childcare, hospitals and moving to Coventry!

Lovely warm atmosphere! I really look forward to coming every month. Nice to have a relaxed chance to meet and chat to other women.

- Salma Bhayat

Loved listening to Sannaa and Salma. It was both funny and sad. I learnt about Sudanese culture.

- Manjet

It was good to meet old and new friends. I missed everyone. Anisa (my daughter) loved playing with Aman.
