Not for glory or for fame, but for usefulness, widespread usefulness.
On Monday 23rd August, FolesHillfields had our first very own Men's Day to promote the rich and diverse masculinities present in the neighbourhood.
Over twenty men enjoyed ourselves - read on for details ...
The activities during the afternoon and evening included a Tai Chi taster session;
discussions and raising awareness about Tuberculosis; creating our very own collage of Men's heroes; cooking a lovely meal from our very own healthy garden (for the non-fasting guys) and the first of many (I hope) musical jams.
Not forgetting the enjoying each other's company and having a good old chat about things. Twenty-two men was a good turnout for our first attempt at this, and we will continue to build on this throughout the year as we are planning many more events to come, stay tuned fellas ...
... what would you like to see us do next?

Wow. It all sounds like lots of fun and an excellent turnout. More sounds like a good idea for next time - more people, more activities and more jamming.
