Such is the power of love in gentle mind, - That it can alter all the course of kind.
Autumn is really here now and we have a wide range of activities planned - including some to celebrate Coventry's annual Peace Festival.
Last week we made "T-Shirts for peace" in our Wednesday drop-in, and enjoyed another interesting dialogue event for Africans and Caribbeans (and friends)
Here are the events that we have planned for the upcoming future:-
This week is UK On-line week and we have been out and about encouraging people to take their first steps online. If you know someone who has never really used the internet - they are very welcome to pop in between 2 and 4 any Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday, and we'll help them get started.
Also starting on the 31st October is the Coventry Peace Festival and we have a few events on for that:-
Wednesday 2nd Nov, 2-4pm is our “Big Discussion” - a chance for people to talk about some of the big issues in the world in an informal and relaxed environment
Wednesday 9th Nov 2-4pm we have a language cafe.
Monday 14th Nov 2-8pm we have our next Men's Monday, with the theme "Men at Peace"
Monday 21st Nov, 1-3pm is our Women's Peace Event
Thursday 24th November 12 – 2pm is our next Women's Lunch
Wednesday mornings 10am-noon is our Cook and Eat Well club. If you have something that you would be willing to teach others how to cook, or would like to help out, let us know.
As always we are open every Wednesday afternoon 2-4pm for our drop in session: come and chat, play games, do craft activities, drink tea and eat biscuits.
On Thursday 2-4pm we have our weekly gardening session to keep our community garden looking good and producing delicious fruit and vegetables.
UK Online: bring your friend or family member in to take their first steps online any Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday from 2-4pm
